On Friday, March 13, the NorWest Co-op Community Food Centre officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon-cutting and community celebration in Winnipeg. As the fifth Community Food Centre opened in Canada — the first outside Ontario — the Norwest Co-op CFC is new place where people can come together to grow, cook, share and advocate for good food for all. Here's a round-up of the media coverage of the event.
