“The food made me feel good inside.” - Community member, Harmony CFC Healthy food access programs provide nourishing food for people in low-income communities. These programs offer fresh and nutritious food in a dignified space, and connect people to other supports and resources.
The meal kit programs have been amazing for teaching my daughters how to cook and try new foods.
I love this place. I feel that people know me and that I contribute as well as gain the bonus of healthy food and laughter.
Community Food Centres Canada also works with a community of like-minded nonprofits from across the country called Good Food Organizations (GFOs). A Good Food Organization can be a health centre, a food bank, a teaching farm, or an anti-poverty group. Each offers programs that build health, belonging, and social justice through the power of food, connected by a core philosophy of Good Food Principles. Meet the GFOs
